Spray Guards at Achema 2024
Jeff and the team attended the Achema convention from 10th to 14th June, meeting engineering & chemistry professionals and growing the brand.
Last week our MD Jeff Harwood and the team flew to Frankfurt for the ACHEMA exhibition, joining colleagues from our Germany office. Our stand B43 in Hall 9, was the perfect position, surrounded by other businesses involved in Pumps, Compressors, Valves and Fittings.
Based in Hall 9 on stand B43, along with our German colleague Mr Thomas Budian, our stand headlined the innovative SUREBAND safety shield design. During the exhibition from 10th to 14th June, we enjoyed technical discussions with many companies in chemical-related markets. Indeed several purchase orders were placed during the show, and commitments made for new client projects.
As ever, our unique SUREBAND has particularly well received by chemical industry end-users, it’s design overcoming operational issues associated with the conventional fabric ‘bag’ style of spray shield. Many applications for SUREBAND were discussed, including corrosive acid, hot oil, high pressure steam and hydrogen.
Frankfurt has served as Germany’s financial centre for thousands of years. From acting as a military camp during the Roman occupation to becoming tradepoint of historic kingdoms, Frankfurt has acted as a rendevous point for innovation since records began; and Achema keeps this tradition alive way into modern times. The Messe is a massively significant venue for tradeshows across various industries, and it has the size to prove it. ACHEMA 2024 brought together the most up-to-date technologies within process engineering, chemical processing, Oil & Gas and a truly expansive list of industries.
