High pressure steam leaks have been responsible for severe personal injury and deaths in many high profile cases. It is critically important to only use safety shields suitable for the temperature and pressure at which your application point operates. Additionally, the design must have the ability to diffuse high pressure steam.

Sureband safety shields, manufactured by Flangeguards, are capable of diffusing high pressure steam effectively and without fail, and offer significant improvement on previous bag-type shields.
